The aim of this session is to introduce an insulation category which can reduce the insulation thickness but maintain the required A2-s1-d0 fire rating, required in Construction now. With the demands of Part L, insulation has become thicker creating problems with installation and the effects of other dimension in the design of a structure. Silica Insulation will also perform more consistently in the variety of temperatures we now encounter in the UK.
